About Me

about-imgHello! I am a Pentecostal believer, lovin’ Jesus, teaching the Bible and sharing the great news of the Gospel. I am a “PK” in both name and experience, as my Dad was Senior Pastor at Chelmsford Elim Church; so I am a true “Pastor’s kid”. I have served my local church in many capacities, most recently as Lead Tutor in our weekly Bible classes, called “Life Academy”. Also, I have been responsible for delivering lectures on an extensive range of biblical doctrines, and delight in making them relevant and applicable to modern life. I was also supervising other tutors, and creating the 7-year Life Academy Curriculum Plan.

My aim is always to make learning fun and interactive, so that you will leave remembering the principles learned, and seeking to check them out for yourself! As an Inspirer, my goal is to bring an “animating, quickening and exalting influence” to whatever place or group I am called to.

I was in private practise for 17 years as a Clinical Counsellor, but have now been released to concentrate on being available to the wider church for preaching and teaching purposes.

It has been my joy to speak at many women’s meetings, both intimate and large, and also to speak at Ladies Weekend Conferences, either as a single guest or as Keynote Speaker for the whole weekend.. I have also had the privilege of speaking at a number of churches throughout the UK to mixed audiences.

I mentor a number of church leaders on a one-to-one basis, and also enjoy facilitating small groups of leaders. Sometimes an external voice and ear can bring a fresh perspective on many issues.

I hold a B.A Degree in Theology from Bangor University, North Wales, and also a Master’s Degree in Pentecostal & Charismatic Studies from Regents Theological College in Malvern, UK.

I am happily married, wife of one, mum to two fine sons, friend to lots, and Mentor to … quite a few.

Praying God’s Blessings over you as we Journey Together,

Pat Kennett
